Sunday 15th March: Lucky 15 Most Backed Horses

These are the horses that have moved most in the market as of 9am. We have put together an ACCA of these horses to win or to be placed. Please read all the analysis from the racing post below, these horses are getting backed in, in most cases or there may be non runners in there races. All prices correct at time of publishing

14:10 Limerick – 1st Show 3.75/1 to Last Show 3/1

Made all when winning here last autumn, as he had for his point win; wasn’t allowed his own way upped to this sort of trip on his handicap debut last time (same mark) and holds leading claims for last year’s successful yard.

The Horse – Scarlet and Dove

Our Pick – Scarlet and Dove To Win

15:25 Market Rasen – 1st Show 1.5/1 to Last Show 1.38/1

Flat winner in Ireland and he’s shown clear promise in a couple of hurdle starts for this stable; won’t need to find much more to play a leading role and slightly less testing ground should be beneficial.

The Horse – Dundrum Wood
Our Pick – Dundrum Wood To Win

15:35 Carlisle – 1st Show 3.5/1 to Last Show 3/1

Useful hurdler/chaser in his prime; back from almost a year on the sidelines when close second of five at Wincanton (2m4f, soft) in January and ran well again to be third in a stronger contest at Sandown (3m, soft) the following month; boasts winning form on deep ground; deserves to win a race of this nature.

The Horse – La Rocher

Our Pick – La Rocher To Win

 15:55 Market Rasen – 1st Show 4/1 to Last Show 2.5/1

Handles some cut in the ground but doubtful he’d want too much rain; likes Fakenham and has continued in form there since a win off 4lb lower last autumn; often makes the running, which is ideal round here, and this is easier in theory, so claims in an open race.

The Horse – Thomas Todd

Our Pick – Thomas Todd To Win

Victory Chime

Made winning reappearance at Windsor (1m2f, good to firm) last month and solid fourth places the next twice, every chance he’ll be in the mix.

Gale Force Maya

Won three in a row at 6f on fast and slow ground last summer and has found more progress with her five consecutive placed efforts since, on same mark as for her second in a Class 2 at Pontefract (6f, Auchterarder fourth) last Thursday and was also runner-up in this race last year, should be in the thick of things.

Dark Jedi

Having a good season for new stable, winning twice (1m1f/1m2f) and posting good second places on his last two runs (1m4f/1m6f), most recently in the competitive Old Borough Cup, bang there once more if conditions suit (something to prove if the ground is fast).

Beaten five times since his debut win in June but form is pretty good, including seconds in a Listed race (5f), two Group 2s (both 6f) and latest second in valuable sales race at Doncaster (6.5f) when staying on well and giving the strong impression that 7f may well suit, very much respected.
