Monday 23rd March: Lucky 15 Most Backed Horses

These are the horses that have moved most in the market as of 9am. We have put together an ACCA of these horses to win or to be placed. Please read all the analysis from the racing post below, these horses are getting backed in, in most cases or there maybe non runners in their races. All prices correct at time of publishing

14:00 Nass – 1st Show 3/1 to Last Show 2.75/1

Sire Dawn Approach won the corresponding race when run at the Curragh in 2012; however, this colt’s overall pedigree profile is geared towards stamina; closely related to Listed 1m2f winner Glamorous Approach and to 2m handicap winner Teologia; respected all the same as Kevin Manning’s choice.

The Horse – Poetic Flare

Our Pick – Poetic Flare To Win

14:30 Naas– 1st Show 6.5/1 to Last Show 6/1

Shaped well when staying on for fourth over this trip at the Curragh on only start at two; has been gelded and now fitted with a tongue-tie; stable had a powerful juvenile squad in 2019.

The Horse – Grizzly
Our Pick –
Grizzly To Win

15:00 Nass – 1st Show 8/1 to Last Show 7.5/1

Winner in France as a juvenile; competitive again off a declining mark when third in a 28-runner 6f contest at the Curragh last October; signed off with an encouraging head second over 7f at Leopardstown.

The Horse – Tresorier

Our Pick – Tresorier To Place

 16:30 Naas– 1st Show 1.63/1 to Last Show 1.5/1

8yo making up for lost time this season, now 3-3 between the flags overall; won Dromahane point-to-point as 6yo in December 2018 before missing just under a year and getting the better of useful Samurai Cracker on comeback at Kirkistown last November; comfortable win at Farmaclaffley last month makes him a major player here for in-form trainer.

The Horse – Even So

Our Pick – Even So To Win

All our picks come to a 129/1 EW ACCA HERE

Seven No Trumps

Racing Post – Weak in the market but produced a promising display in third on racecourse debut in a maiden hurdle at Ludlow (2m5f, heavy); should have learned plenty from that and in-form stable’s runners have to be respected.

Doc Kauto

Racing Post – Promising over fences last season but well held on only subsequent outing at Newton Abbot in July; market check advised after his absence.

Sword Of Fate

Racing Post – Has appreciated the recent return to hurdling, leading home several returning rivals when about 3l second over C&D at 50-1 last month (soft) and consolidating that form effort at Carlisle ten days later; shortlisted off same mark with Brian Hughes once more up, and drier ground is fine.

Akarita Lights

Racing Post – Last three starts 2m7f-3m1f on soft or heavy; runner-up at Market Rasen latest; does not look on a great mark but still considered.
